(More customer reviews)i was worried after the initial purchase of this product; the few reviews posted do not highly rate the grinder. i, however, find it to be totally appropriate. the size is adequate for grinding up a few buds, the pieces screw and unscrew smoothly, and the screen seems to be catching my fine trichomes.
i also received the product from the seller immediately. monday morning i placed the order and it arrived friday afternoon.
excellent.

The micron count on the pollen separating screen is awsome! only letting the highest quality pollen to be collected, and then pressed with the neat lil pollen press you get along with it.useing the full tray on the grinder along with the press you'll be left with a chapstik tube sized cake of beautiful blonde pollen. I have already recommended this to all my friends and if they'er as smart as you for reading this then they have already bought this.

2.25" SHARP CRUSHER Premium Quality Tobacco Herb Grinder (non-aluminum grinder) Review

(More customer reviews)I've been using a 2.5" SharpStone grinder, and this beats it hands down, with a much nicer feel, 24 grinding "nubs" to SharpStone's 12, and also no tight lid leaving aluminum residue around the outer edges after grinding.
Another review gave this only 3 stars, saying that it has a weak magnet, however it works just fine: turn the grinder upside-down and the lid doesn't fall off, even with a bit of shaking. What more does one need?
Also, someone noted that this model's kief screen is too fine to be effective. While it does look that way, I'm finding that it is equal in "production" to the SharpStone.
One complaint that I have with both products is that they require too many turns to tighten the parts together; surely these could have been machined so that a single twist would do the trick, eliminating the need for a fine touch in order to get the pieces together without stripping the threads.

(More customer reviews)The vaporizer works good, only issue is that the seal between the tube casing and the vaporizer itself always lets out smoke. The seal just is not air tight to prevent any loss and if you try to tighten the plastic it will then just loosen up. Its a good product but obviously you get what you pay for, there's a reason why its fairly inexpensive compared to the others out there.

the grinder they include in the kit isn't mini, its full size, but it stinks. also, the whip tubing isnt really necessary, i prefer the stem on it.
but get the magic flight it changed my life. you use almost no herb and you're flyingggg, and of course you can reuse the herb again!

iolite Portable Vaporizer (Orange) Review

Great concept... But the plastic mouthpiece broke off almost immediately... And the screens clog up real quickly, reducing draw to a drag.
If IOlite comes out with a next-generation product which addresses those flaws and resolves them, I'll buy another one.

10 MARCH 2010: UPGRADE TO 4 STARS
The Iolite still works, and the design of the pipe-stem has been changed so it DOESN'T break off anymore.
BTW, when I heard the problems with the plastic pipe-stem had been addressed, I e-mailed the company about the problems I'd had. They quickly mailed me two of the new ones: no charge. That shows a lot of class and consumer awareness. Kudos.
Two tips:
(1) It's important to use a high-quality, triple-filtered butane [Definitely Not Ronson's!!!!!]... otherwise the Iolite will spit, sputter... and occasionally won't ignite.
(2) Grinding down the herbs to a fine powder is a bad idea. Dust quickly clogs up the Iolite's heating chamber so it won't draw at all.
Summing up: based on THE IOLITE'S relative durability [compared to the other portable vaporizers I've tried]... and the fact that the company rather responsively recognized, addressed, and fixed the gizmo's major flaw...
UPGRADE TO 4 STARS!!!!
