(More customer reviews)I hate to lower the rating on this pretty tea kettle (emerald green), but I think that you should be aware that I have returned two of them now because they arrived scuffed, scraped, and even chipped. It's how it is packaged in its original box--it scrapes up against the cardboard during shipping. You cannot tell it's scuffed up until you remove it from its original box. It is a very pretty kettle, and I hate that I didn't get to use it. I really wanted to make people aware--especially if you are sending this as a gift--that the packaging needs work.

(More customer reviews)I've read on another sites, reviews that it doesn't whistle, another said rust in two days. Hey for $19 and free shipping it's hard to beat. Works great, looks great and whistles like a steam engine. It's instructions, as in most kettles say, don't leave water in them, but I do and it hasn't shown any indication of rust. So far so good, I recommend this kettle.
