(More customer reviews)I purchased this exact bottle elsewhere, but I felt it necessary to address aspects about the product in a review. For the cost, this is a perfectly fine bottle. Holds an adequate amount of water, has the convenience of a counter dial, and even a wire lock to secure the lid. However, I would not ever put this thing into a dishwasher, especially the lid. The bottle itself, yes. Or to get an equally thorough clean invest in a bottle brush. I used the bottle a few times and realized it needed a thorough cleanse. I had placed it in the dishwasher before (both parts apart) and had no problems. Then one day I couldn't figure out why the bottle kept leaking. Realized a small, whitish seal/ring that is housed inside the lid itself had "disappeared" while in the dishwasher, never to be seen again. I was really disappointed because I liked the bottle otherwise, but now I can't use it because of the missing seal. If it was as "dishwasher durable" as stated in claims (unless they only mean the bottle itself and not the lid) then they need to be more specific. I would purchase again, but I'd be aware that washing by hand is probably a better idea.
